Karen, Katelyn and I flew down to Orlando last weekend to stay with Annie and Josh and have a girls + Josh weekend. IT WAS THE BEST. I feel overwhelmingly grateful for my pockets of sweet genuine smart beautiful friends. These three are no exception and it was such a treat to get to literally just hang out for an entire 3 days! We ate, talked, played with each others hair, listened to music videos, gave massages, got pedicures, shopped, laughed, played games and slept. I wouldn't change a gosh darn thing. Here's where each of these sweets are in their life right now:
Karen: married to Matt, living in New Jersey, actively trying to get pregnant taking prenatal vitamins, as beautiful as ever, not working out at all but still with muscle definition, working at IPR, looking to buy a house
Katelyn: dating Trevor, living in Maine, working in an outpatient pedicatrics clinic, smoking weed daily, needing to get a 4WD vehicle for the winter and her 45 minute commute to work, goofy and sensitive as ever
Annie: married to Josh, living in Orlando, working in acute care on neuro floor, doing crossfit for real, loving chips like always, short in stature but so so strong, best vocabulary still, trying to figure out if having children is right for their lives, having interesting transition with her mother who is dating and moving in with a Trump voting man
Girlfriends are the best friends...wouldn't trade them for anything and can't wait for the next reunion.
