San Fran visit numero 4!

As always my visit with Amanda was absolutely wonderful!  She never fails to amaze me with her hostessing skills and her wonderful west coast lifestyle.

Day 1:
Lunch alone at a cute cafe, writing to Joyce
Wandering through Rockridge and wanting to buy a dress covered in tomatoes
Seeing Amanda at the Bart station, hugging laughing screaming
Amanda getting a text from you know who talking about El Ten Eleven reminding him of her (CRAZY)
Going for a run and spilling everything to each other - thank goodness
Getting groceries and making lasagna, salad, and raw brownies (they were delish believe it or not)
A wonderful friend supper including Courtlin followed by ukulele and singing

Day 2:
Morning run with Courtlin to Berkeley and back - once again wonderful chats
Amanda back from work and packing for camping trip/saying goodbye to Courtlin
Off to Big Basin in Victoria's super nice car - wonderful chats to the point we needed silence :)
Arrive to find that Amanda with only the best intentions, accidentally booked a disabled camp site
No cell phone service to tell the others
Luckily we still got a site (but paid double, bummer) and were joined by Vic, Marina and Maggie
Nice little hike to check out the mother Redwood - beauty
Supper of chips salsa guac quesadillas corn nachos (cold nonetheless ha) and beer
Lots of laughs to the point the we were sushed
Amanda and I slept freezy and on gravel, but still managed to laugh most of the night imagining we were singing Someone Like You in our tent on the ukulele
Woke up and ventured out on 11 mile hike - not strenuous as the sign warned - beautiful 3 waterfalls, super crowded and amazing terrain changes -> Therapy session for all of us
Left Big Basin and went to Half Moon Bay Brewery where we had beer, clam chowder in bread bowls and garlic fries - YUM
On the drive home Amanda and I stopped and ran onto the beach to touch the Pacific :)
Fell asleep at 10 and slept like babies

Day 3:
No Waffle Run, but worth it cause we got to sleep
Leisurely made smoothies and headed to Dolores Park
Off the Bart ran into Carnival in the Mission and soaked it up including a bacon wrapped hot dog
Hung in Dolores all afternoon with Amanda's amazing friends
Watched a cute guy play frisbee with amazing dog and get picked up by a lesbian - strange
Went back to Rockridge for homemade Uncle Dan tacos by Drew and ice cream sandwiches - YUM

Day 4:
No plans for the day set in stone and then heard Maggie was going to see California Honey Drops in Petaluma at an awesome brewery for free
We wanted to go, so we made it happen i.e. Amanda is a rockstar
I made Amanda and her mom Weebley websites while she made a delish brunch
Headed to Petaluma with Maggie, Lauren and Daniel (brother of drummer)
Got to Lagunita's Brewery listened to Chicago birds (of which I will be seeing this Friday!) ate, drank and then California Honey Drops!
It started raining and we danced through it, so so so so fun!
Hung backstage with the band afterwards and then drove home (the long way) listening to Maggie and Dan freestyling about honey tits, Pochahontas, lotion and the like - hilarious

Day 5:
Woke up said goodbyes :(
Cleaned made blog and tumblr
Said by to Vic
Same plane through 4 layovers ->back to Austin
