It was a combination of lovely and happy and joyous with heavy sadness because two amazing grandmothers are slowly coming to the end. My heart hurts for Christian's parents who are going through one of the hardest things at the exact same time in almost the exact same way. Luckily they both have huge families that are as supportive as they come, but I am wishing all the peace to Louise and Muriel as well as all the strength to Hannah and Ted.
